As a very small team, juggling many priorities, we needed a new website to showcase our work, which is continually evolving in approach and impact, the can be easily updated without overly taxing our team. With the solutions Jake developed, we have a very nimble set up that allows our team to edit our own website to reflect the changing needs of our work. His design showcases some of our more complex deliverables really well, including creative ways to display social media platforms, and publications that would not be a burden to continue updating.

It was so nice and feel-good to work with a developer that was open minded, offered advice or guidance, but with zero arrogance or unnecessary complexity. Jake really heard our concerns and worked specifically to solve them, rather than just applying a one size fits all approach. As a tiny org with limited capacity, this matters so much - no time to spare on shiny new solutions that miss the mark!

The biggest impact has been in the increased capacity for our team to make edits or updates to keep our web presence up to date and engaging, and reflect what we do. We no longer have to work within a locked in structure that doesn’t serve the content! In combination with our other marketing efforts, the website helped us raise half our annual budget in the 2 months since launch! I’m much more comfortable, thrilled actually, to just send a potential donor the link because I know it looks good and represents our current thinking and work.
